90 Days on C-Date and Not a Single Date

Today I will share my experience on C-Date. I joined the site sort of by accident. I followed an ad on a social media page. Since I was already looking for a decent dating site, I thought I'd give it a try.

The first impression I had of C-Date was really good as its design was very slick and professional looking. Being somewhat new to online dating, I made the mistake of not reading the terms of service of C-Date beforehand. So, I went ahead and created a free account and started exploring the platform.

Quickly, I found out that it is not possible to have a decent experience without paying for a full membership. While women can get a full membership for free, men must pay in order to get full access to all of the site's features.

Since I was really eager to interact with some of the female profiles that I was finding when I conducted basic searches on C-Date, I decided to pay. One major disadvantage of C-Date is the fact that it will not allow you to pay for a period shorter than 3 months. At a cost of $49.90 per month, that's a total of $149.70 for the three month period. Even so, I decided to give it a try as I was convinced that if a site looked professional — the way C-Date did — it would certainly yield results.

After I got my full membership I began to explore the site to the fullest. Soon, I found out that their database was full of fake profiles. These were intended to lure you into paying for the full membership. In my case, they did their job very well.

During those three months, I did my best to find a compatible partner. The only real female profiles I found were inactive. As a matter of fact, the majority of the profiles on the site indicated that they had not been updated in months or years.

For the best part of three months, I logged in daily. I sent messages to supposed female members. I sent winks — I did everything possible to interact with the community. No matter how hard I tried I never got to speak with a real person. The only responses I had were from the fake profiles.

The end result was that after three months and $149.70 out of my pocket — I was no closer to getting a date than I was at the beginning. In hindsight, there are tons of negative reviews of C-Date I could have read that would have saved me the trouble. Hopefully, you won't make the same mistake I did.
