The Perils of Renting a Cabin in North Georgia

The definitive guide when it comes to renting a cabin in North Georgia and its surrounding territories

Nothing can be more troublesome and tiring as renting a cabin while travelling, and I have had too many brushes with the wrong sort of agents and middlemen to know that renting a cabin is not as easy as it seems and there are many things that can go wrong in a matter of seconds. Having had a terrible experience around 2 years ago while I was searching for cabin rentals in North Georgia, I decided to take a different approach this time around, and I went forth searching the internet.

At first I had a torrid time calling and asking the relevant person the details of the cabin, and more often than not many of them hanged up on me after I kept asking them for details. I understand this might be a tad bit annoying, but given my previous experiences I wasn’t in the mood of taking any chances. After a bit of searching I finally stumbled upon a few good websites which had a detailed viewing and descriptions about the cabins that they had to offer. There were a number of good cabins available and I was contemplating on which one I would rent for my upcoming family excursion. As fate would have it a work colleague of mine who had been to North Georgia recently recommended that I check out Sliding Rock Cabins, and their website. He was full of praise for their services, but given my previous experiences I was a bit skeptical, and hence I approached with caution. I did extensive research about the cabins that they had to offer and whether or not they were in lieu with my budget.

After I was satisfied with what they had to offer proceeded to call them and make the necessary arrangements. Upon my arrival I was splendidly surprised that how well maintained the cabins were, and my kids could not get enough of the place. I and my father in law are fishing enthusiasts and we were delighted to know that there were also several opportunities for fishing Trout. We had an absolute blast and without a shadow of a doubt the best part of the entire trip was the time I spent Trout fishing.  I caught an absolute beauty which we then proceeded to cook over a campfire. This was a trip I and my family will certainly remember for years and years to come.  If anyone of you is thinking of going to North Georgia be sure to check out Sliding rock Cabins as they really do have some fantastic options available.
